Simple Wedding Make Up Tips

A wedding is such a significant part of every woman’s life. That is why it is important that the bride would look good on her special day. One of the things that are often neglected is the bride’s make up. It is necessary that proper steps and measures should be taken to ensure that the bride will be all smiles and glowing all throughout the ceremony. Here are some very useful tips that every bride to be should know.

Simplicity is Beauty

When it comes to choosing the right make up, always stick for subtle and natural colors. Avoid make ups that are striking unless it really goes with your theme. Blue mascara and a red lipstick may be overkill. As much as possible, go for nude and light colors because you want to be recognized by your fiancé on your wedding day and not mistaken as an old relative.

Highlight Your Best Features

If you have pouty or full lips then highlight it. If you have great eyes then go with makeup that will showcase your pretty peepers. This is your day so you want to look the best. The best way to do is flaunt all those great features that you have. You will likely look more gorgeous and attractive when you take the time to show your beloved features.

Go for Professional Make Up

This is not the thing you should scrimp on your wedding. Set a budget for professional make up instead of doing your own make up. A makeup artist will do wonders on you and it will save you the hassle of applying makeup by yourself. Before the big day, try to meet with your makeup artist and do test makeup. This way you will see which makeup color will complement your theme and at the same time would make you look attractive.

The Wonders of Waterproof Mascara

Never underestimate the powers of waterproof mascara. No matter how blissful a wedding, you could never get away with tearjerker moments. If you do not want to end up looking like a raccoon then make sure that you incorporate waterproof mascara on your make up.

Long Lasting Make Up

Let your makeup artist know that this will be a long event so that she will use long lasting make up. To ensure that you will get the most out of your special day without having to run to the washroom for touchups then a long lasting make up is appropriate.

Weather and its Effects

Believe it or not, the weather will play a significant part on your wedding day and to your make up too. Avoid applying makeup that is too shiny when your wedding would be set on a warm weather. This is to avoid cakey or flakey looking makeup that is caused by the intense heat. You better read more about neck make up tips to achieve full makeup coverage.

The Facts

We have so many questions in life and often than not, they remain mystery unless we intensely heed on knowing the facts. And as I was browsing the net in search of an answer or truth about depression, I stumbled upon one good site- FactsBarn. It provides ample information on a variety of topics. Educational and informative, it is.

Indeed, people are always in search of reality and in quest of specifics. And I see no harm with that. It’s always best to know the facts and be of certainty than to live and dwell in ambiguity.

Okay. So, from FactsBarn, what did I learn? I discovered that, “Depression is found to be occurring more often in women than in men.” Ouch! No, I’m not depressed. I’m simply bothered by lots of things; the idea of marriage, starting my own business, purchasing a house and lot, getting my dream car and blah, blah, blah! Life’s over drive!

Now, do you think I’m depressed? :)

Tech-Blog...Soon!

If there’s one more site that I’d like to put up someday, it’s a technology blog like MobileRookie. Yes, I’m a fan of innovation. And I admire and love how technology brings so much positive things to everyone’s lives.

From snail mail, we’re now enjoying the benefits of electronic mail. Within seconds, you’ll be able to send and receive messages thus, lifting you from all the hustle and bustle of going to and fro the post office. Plus, no need to pay for any stamp huh!

My Father is an OFW (Overseas Filipino Worker) since 1989. And vividly, I remember how he used to send recorded voice messages and have it shipped through courier. Wow, a month of waiting is always at stake! But now, with smart phones, internet and laptops with camera, we’re able to talk and see him, oops, along with my brother in real time! :)

I don’t think we need to discuss one by one the advantages of modern technology; they are just too many to mention. And you know that I don’t like you getting bored, do you? :) Setbacks? Of course, they have. But I’m in great awe to dwell on that.

So, please watch out for my tech-blog soon. MobileRookie, see you in the blogosphere! :)

On Eyeglasses

I started wearing eyeglasses since 2002 primarily because travelling at night seemed to be more difficult for me. My school’s located in San Marcelino, Ermita and roving to and fro Rizal requires clear eyesight. Need I mention the countless times I missed the exact drop off point? How about the numerous public vehicles that skipped from my sight? Ahh. Those were the days…

The real culprit who stashed my 20/20 vision remains unknown but I suspected it was due to:

-Reading while inside moving vehicles
-Washing face after long hours of travel
-Doing assignments and computer works in a non-conducive place

Anyway, this post isn’t about the whines on my now 175 grade vision. I mean, I still have lots of things to be thankful for!

Our eyes should be checked up every 6 months and eyeglasses be replaced accordingly. And I think mine had passed the said span. Okay, then, I should thank Firmoo. :)

Yeah, I had my new frame from them! By the way, Firmoo is a global online optical store. I can assure you their site boasts a lot of exquisite designs! :) Oops, and they are affordable and of high quality too. Plus, their site comes complete. They have the full information you’ll need before making a purchase and a Virtual Try-on! You’re sure not to get lost. :)
