It’s my habit to listen to Papa Jack’s TLC (True Love Confessions) each night. And though I’m at work on a graveyard shift, I’m only doing automated and manual reports; which mean I can stay tuned with it. Today, May 27, I was astounded with the guy I was hearing on the other line. He’s crying too much because he had just lost his girlfriend. He has been the arrogant type, control freak and had taken her for granted in two years and a half. The girl asked him for time and space- yes, she’s quitting. Now, realizations played a greater part in his call to the station. He’s down to his knees and begging her to stay.
Most often than not, our notion about the people who love us dearly is wrong. We’re too relaxed having them around, knowing they would never leave or quit. We even do some foolish things and stay grounded, they can forgive us anyway. But what if it’s the other way around? What if that person becomes tired? What if love just ain't enough
?
Cling with the people you love. Seize each moment with them. Take notice of their importance in your life- before it's too late.
